Returns, Refunds & Liability

Because alteration and repair services are performed specifically for your garments, completed services are nonrefundable. If you believe the work differs from the service ordered, please contact us promptly so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.

Please do not send wedding gowns, formal gowns, couture pieces, heirlooms, irreplaceable garments, or other unusually delicate or high-value items unless Big City Recall has approved them in writing before shipment. Unapproved or ineligible garments may be returned without service. A $6.99 inspection and handling fee, plus all applicable return-shipping charges, will apply.

Original shipping charges, return-shipping charges, carrier fees, and expedited-shipping charges are nonrefundable. Shipping and processing times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Big City Recall is not responsible for carrier delays, incorrect customer-provided addresses, or packages lost or damaged before confirmed delivery to us or after transfer to the return carrier.

Although we handle every garment with care, repair and alteration work involves inherent risks, including variations in stitching, color, texture, fit, fabric strength, and the discovery or worsening of preexisting damage. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Big City Recall’s total liability for any lost, damaged, or altered garment is limited to the lesser of the garment’s current fair-market value or $100 per order. We do not accept liability for sentimental value, collectible value, loss of use, or other indirect or consequential damages.

Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
